David Liu was born in Taiwan in the Republic of China. He attended Cal State Long Beach and graduated with a BA in Business Administration option in Accounting. With thirty years in working in the private sector, and four years working with a CPA firm in the area of Medical Accounting, David is well versed in the area of Financial Accounting. Recruited by the Tule River Tribe from the city of Taft, David has worked for the tribe for five years. For the last three years, David has been the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for the Tribe. His duties are to handle all Financial operations for the Tule River Tribe. These include all ventures such as Tule River Aero-Industries, and Eagle Mountain Casino. David also is involved with the budgets set forth by the Council. |
