The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Tule River Tribal Council in the overseeing of the Tribes gaming operation to maintain and uphold the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Tribal/State Compact, the Tribes Gaming Ordinance, the Tribes Gaming Regulations, and the policies/procedures of the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission and the Tule River Tribal Gaming Agency. Carry out functions as outlined by the Tule River Tribal Council.

Background Investigations:

There are currently three background investigators working for the Tule River Gaming Commission.  There function is to ensure the validity of all applicants applying for positions at Eagle Mountain Casino.  With a thorough background check, they are able to find out if there are any inconsistencies with applicants or vendors pursuing a gaming or vending license from the Gaming Commission.  Gaming licenses are required to be able to conduct business at the Casino.  Once the Background Check is completed and the applicant is approved, a gaming or vendor license will be issued.

Compliance Officers:

The gaming commission has employed Compliance Officers to oversee the day-to-day operations of the casino.  They also ensure that the casino is in compliance with the MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) set fourth by gaming governing body.  These rules and regulations are strict and not subject to interpretation.  As such, the Compliance Officers are to observe all aspects of the casino's operation plan.  If there is a problem, they are to investigate the problem and report it to the Gaming Commission for resolution. 

Gaming Commissioners:

Through a selection process held by the Tule River Tribal Council, Gaming Commissioners are appointed for 3 year terms.  The Commissioners, are required to review all gaming decisions made by the Eagle Mountain Casino.  The Gaming Commissioners are essentially the eyes and ears for the Nation Indian Gaming Commission.  The Current Gaming Commissioners are as follows:
