Peter Christman has been the Tribal Treasurer for the past 3 years.  Elected in January, 2001 his responsibilities to the Tribal Council and Tribal Community have grown. In addition to protecting the tribes assets, he currently oversees the following programs:

Tribal Member Assistance Program

ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act)

Peter Christman has spent his entire life on the reservation.  A graduate from Porterville High School, he continued his education at Porterville College with a major in Vocational Education.  Before being elected to council, Peter Christman was the Fiscal Officer for the Health Center for 17 years.
