The
Tule River Tribe is an active member in the legal proceedings within the
state of California. Because of this, the tribe has
enlisted the services of

With the growing business ventures that the Tule River Tribe is conducting, the need for legal representation becomes even greater. The Tule River legal staff is currently working on numerous projects in the areas of the ongoing protection of the tribes sovereignty, trust land, the conversion of fee land to trust land on the tribes behalf, protection of the tribes natural resources of timber and water and continuing enforcement of the Indian Child Welfare Act. In addition they are protecting aboriginal and ancestral burial sites and spiritual and culturally sensitive sites.
