With the growing business ventures that the Tule River Tribe is conducting, the need for legal representation becomes even greater.  The Tule River legal staff is currently working on numerous projects in the areas of the ongoing protection of the tribes sovereignty,  trust land, the conversion of fee land to trust land on the tribes behalf, protection of the tribes natural resources of timber and water and continuing enforcement of the Indian Child Welfare Act.  In addition they are protecting aboriginal and ancestral burial sites and spiritual and culturally sensitive sites.

The Tule River Legal department works with local, county state and federal government agencies.  Day to day operations entail reviewing contract for the tribes many economic enterprises.  In addition to the aforementioned projects, the Tule River Legal department continues to monitor the changing laws that affect tribes locally and nationally in gaming and tribal and issues affecting tribal government operations.
